When viewing a block explorer for certain blockchains, you might come across an address with a status of "Not Yet Redeemed".

This status indicates that there is a current balance of coins located at that address that have been received (input).

These coins are considered "Not Yet Redeemed" until they are spent (output).

If you see that an address you own shows a status of "Not Yet Redeemed",

it means that you have received funds from ShapeShift and they are sitting in that address ready for you to spend.
